Night life in Madeira has become better and better over the last years, with many trendy places opening up. Although there are no fully Gay Bar/Clubs on the island, don’t let that put you off.

Many bars and clubs are very mixed and a night out can be one to remember, just don’t drink to many Ponchas… 🙂

Zona Velha is the best place to start on a Friday or Saturday night, in the local poncha bars. Places close at 2am, then its of to the clubs.
